INCOMING STUDENTS

As an exchange student you can spend one or two semesters at the University of Montenegro.You can come for an an exchange through one of the following programmes:

  • Erasmus+
  • Erasmus Mundus programme
  • Ceepus programme
  • Mevlana exchange programme
  • Bilateral agreements

Before applying you should inform yourself of the academic offer at the respective university unit of the University of Monteneegro. You can find our academic offer here.

For being an exchange student at the University of Montenegro  you should first be nominated by your home university. Inform yourself at your home university on the procedure you should follow in order to be considered for nomination.

 After you are nominated by your home university, you will be contacted by the respective coordinator of the University of Montenegro and you will be required to submit an application form.

 In addition to the application form you should submit:

  • Transcipt of records
  • CV
  • motivation letter
  • recommendation letter by a profossor from your home faculty

 Deadlines for submitting the application form are the following:

15 May for the winter semester

 15 November for the summer semester 

Buddy network 

We have created the so-called Buddy Network - a group of experienced, helpful students who will be more than happy to assist you (on request) with transfer to the dormitory (within our town), check-in, your first visit at the Dean's office, and other minor current affairs. Most of them have experience with travelling & studying with Erasmus.

In order to obtain a room in the new dormitory you should send an e-mail with the dates of your arrival and departure to the e-mail address irouom@ac.me.

The price for a bed in a double room is 22.90 eur per month.

Course of Montenegrin language

IRO Office University of Montenegro  organises course of Montenegrin language for international students. Course is held twice a week in Rectorate and it is free of charge.At the end, students obtain Certificate of Attendance.
